Position Summary:
As a Remote Sales Engineer at Skillshare, you will play a pivotal role in driving our sales efforts by providing technical expertise to our customers. You will collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs, demonstrate the value of our products, and support the sales process through technical solutions. This is a key position that requires a blend of technical knowledge and sales acumen.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and propose technical solutions
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and benefits of our offerings
- Assist in the development of sales proposals and respond to technical queries from customers
- Act as a technical advisor during the sales process to ensure customer satisfaction
- Provide post-sales technical support and maintain strong customer relationships
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Proven experience in a sales engineering or technical sales role
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to understand and articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Experience working in a remote environment with a high level of self-motivation and accountability
Technical Requirements:
- Dedicated home office setup with high-speed internet connection
- Proficiency in remote collaboration tools such as Zoom, Slack, and Google Workspace
- Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate different time zones within the USA
Desired Skills:
- Experience with CRM software such as Salesforce or HubSpot
- Familiarity with e-learning platforms or online education technology
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric mindset
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience
